What does it actually feel like to record at MidIron Sound?

Photos can show you the equipment and a list can tell you what’s available, but neither really captures the experience of walking into a recording studio. That’s why we decided to create a video tour that gives musicians a closer look at MidIron Sound before they ever arrive for their first session.

Bringing the Studio to the Screen

Digital Media Design visited MidIron Sound in Mashpee, Massachusetts, to spend some time inside the studio and capture it on video. The goal wasn’t simply to document the rooms and equipment. We wanted to create something that showed the atmosphere of the studio and gave artists a sense of the environment where they’ll be making music.

The cameras moved throughout the space, capturing the control room, recording areas, instruments, equipment, and many of the details that make MidIron what it is.

The resulting footage was then edited into a studio tour designed to give musicians an authentic look inside.
